No commission. Not no cost.
Trade ETF CFDs with no commission on every Uprime Capital LTD account. You still pay the spread and, on positions held overnight, financing. Know all three before you trade.
Commission-free, explained plainly.
An ETF is a basket of assets that trades under one ticker. On Uprime Capital LTD you trade a CFD on that ETF. A CFD is a contract on price. You never own the ETF.
Commission on ETF CFDs, on Standard, Pro and VIP accounts.
The gap between the buy and sell price. This is a cost on every trade.
A daily charge or credit on leveraged positions held past the daily cut-off.
You hold a contract, not units. No fund fees are charged to you by Uprime Capital LTD on the ETF itself.
Free of commission is not free of cost.
Removing commission does not remove the price of trading. For ETF CFDs, the cost sits in two places. Both are shown on the platform before you confirm an order.
- Spread: paid when you open and close
- Financing: charged per night while a position stays open
- Wider spreads can apply when markets are closed or quiet
- Long-term holding costs more than short-term trading
What you pay on an ETF CFD.
Figures are examples and vary by instrument and market conditions.
| Cost | Do you pay it? | How it works |
|---|---|---|
| Commission | No ($0) | Not charged on ETF CFDs on any account. |
| Spread | Yes | Built into the buy and sell price. Narrower on liquid ETFs, wider on small ones. |
| Overnight financing | Yes, if held overnight | Daily charge or credit based on position size, direction and a benchmark rate plus a fee. |
| Fund management fees | Not charged to you by Uprime Capital LTD | The ETF's own costs are already reflected in its price. |
| Currency conversion | If your account currency differs | Applied to profit and loss in the instrument's currency. |
Counting the real cost.
An illustration with made-up numbers, not a quote or a prediction.
| Step | Example |
|---|---|
| Position | Buy 100 units of an ETF CFD at 50.00 (position value $5,000) |
| Commission | $0.00 |
| Spread | 0.04 wide, so about $4 to open and close |
| Financing | About $0.60 per night while the position is open (example rate) |
| Held 10 nights | About $6 financing, plus about $4 spread: roughly $10 total cost |
| Result | The price must move in your favour by more than the costs just to break even. |

Four checks before you trade.
What does it track?
Read the fund’s description. Know the index, sector or asset behind the price.
How big and active is it?
Large, busy ETFs usually have tighter spreads and smoother prices.
What is the spread?
Compare the spread to the size of the move you expect. A wide spread eats small moves.
How long will you hold?
Check the overnight financing rate. Many days of holding can cost more than the spread.
Things to know first.
- CFDs are leveraged. A small price move can cause a large loss, and you can lose more than you deposit in some jurisdictions.
- ETFs can fall as well as rise. Diversification inside the fund does not remove risk.
- Prices can gap at the open, especially for ETFs tied to markets in other time zones.
- Dividends and distributions are handled as cash adjustments on your CFD, not paid as fund income.
- Financing is charged every night you hold. Leveraged positions held for a long time can cost a lot.

Common questions.
Risk warning. CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Commission-free does not mean cost-free. Make sure you understand how they work and whether you can afford the risk.
